Tell us a bit about yourself
I am a Paediatric Specialist Physiotherapist with academic and professional experience which equips me with the skills and knowledge to scale my innovation, PROBr in the UK.

Occupation: Paediatric Specialist Physiotherapist.
Location: Chester
I have excelled academically in research and critical thinking during my Master’s and Doctorate in Physiotherapy. I’ve authored critical analysis papers, drawing evidence from various clinical studies and research papers to support my hypotheses and project objectives.
Tell us about your innovation and the challenge you aim to address within the NHS?
I am the CEO and founder of PROBr, which is a research platform that aims to make it easy and convenient to recruit participants for research/ clinical trials in a dynamic, user-friendly space. It is a two-sided market, connecting clinical researchers (scientists, biologists, doctors, physios, etc.) and potential participants.
PROBr strives to enhance treatment processes for patients and clinicians. It focuses on improving existing treatments, with an aim to reduce clinician workload, enhance patient comfort, and optimise patient feedback.
Why did you apply to join the programme, and what are you most looking forward to?
I found the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme on LinkedIn, prompting me to explore its offerings and submit an application.
I hope this programme will help me establish my foundation as a company, open doors to meet and network with other professionals at different business levels and allow me to learn valuable information that will fill gaps that I have on my business resumé.
What are your ambitions for the next year?
My ambition for next year is to launch my product and progress into the trading phase.
I hope to also mentor people who are looking for help and become a speaker, not only in the business remit but for humanity, to inspire people to have limitless aspirations.
Why do you think innovation is important in healthcare?
Innovation in healthcare is crucial because it transforms our experience, making it more comfortable and reliable. For instance, innovations shifted us from opium to anaesthesia, significantly improving patient care.
